Configure This Build

The DROP is the heater we fit most often, and the reason is mostly shape. It hangs on the wall rather than standing on the floor, so it costs you no bench space in a small room, and the rounded form softens an interior that is otherwise all straight lines. What makes it more than a good-looking wall heater is the stone capacity: 122 lb of exposed rock, roughly two to three times what most wall-mounted heaters carry. More mass means the steam keeps coming rather than dying after the first ladle.

Output is the only real decision. 6kW suits a small room, 9kW is what goes into most of our builds, and 7.5kW sits between them. Undersize it and the room takes forever and never quite settles; oversize it and you heat the air past comfortable while the stones lag behind.

Every DROP needs a UKU controller. The local version is a panel by the door and does everything you need. The wifi version does the same and lets you start the sauna from your phone, which in practice means walking out to a room already at temperature instead of waiting forty minutes.
