The Hive Mini is the one people choose on looks and keep for the steam. The stones sit in an open cage rather than behind a shell, so you see the mass rather than a metal box, and it holds considerably more of it than the DROP.

That stone volume is the point. At 330 lb it carries close to three times what the DROP holds. A heavier stone bed takes longer to come up to temperature but gives back a softer, longer steam and recovers faster between ladles. In a large room it is the difference between steam that lands and steam that disappears.

At 10.5kW this is the largest electric heater we fit, and it is meant for the bigger builds. It needs a UKU controller, and it will need a dedicated circuit sized by your electrician.
